Personal Data Protection (KVKK) Notice

This notice has been prepared pursuant to Article 10 of the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) to inform you about the processing of your personal data within the scope of the International Fisheries Summit Elazığ 2026.
Data Controller
Your personal data is processed by the Anatolian Aquaculture Engineers Association (Ana-Süm-Der) acting as data controller. For any questions, you can reach us at info@fisheriesummit.com.
Personal Data Processed
Through the registration and contact forms we process: identity data (full name, job title), contact data (email, phone), professional data (organization/company, field of activity, product category), participation preferences (accommodation, event attendance, dietary preference/allergy note), financial data (payment receipt), and — only if you request a visa invitation letter — passport data (name as in passport, passport number, nationality, date of birth, expiry date).
Purposes of Processing
Your data is processed to receive and manage your summit application, plan B2B matchmaking meetings, organize accommodation and events, issue visa invitation letters, verify payment, and inform you about the summit.
Legal Basis and Collection Method
Your personal data is collected electronically via the forms on this website, based on Article 5/2-c of the KVKK (establishment and performance of the contract/application) and on the explicit consent you give in the form. Data that may qualify as special category (such as dietary/allergy information) and the hosting of data abroad are subject to your explicit consent.
Data Transfers
Your application details and payment receipt are stored on Google Workspace infrastructure (Sheets and Drive) accessible only to the organizing team; the servers of this service may be located abroad. If you request a visa invitation letter, your passport data is used solely to issue the letter and may be shared with the relevant official authorities where necessary. Your data is not otherwise transferred to third parties and is not used for marketing.
Your Rights under Article 11 of the KVKK
You have the right to learn whether your personal data is processed, request information if it has been, learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly, request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, request deletion or destruction, request notification of these operations to third parties to whom data has been transferred, and claim compensation for damages.
